I had to post photos from last weekend, when I finally fulfilled a dream: To enter a Corn Maze. We did not have these where I grew up in NC, so seeing them in upstate New York was super exciting. And since we were coming back from a friend’s wedding, I got to run through the corn maze in a dress, which is extra fun. Did you guys know about these things? Amazing!
I know this last one is overexposed, but I feel like it’s the closest I’ll ever get to looking like part of the cast of Heroes. I’m about to blow something up!
Happy weekends, everyone.

I heart corn mazes! If you’re ever up in Maine, we have a lot, so you can find many to run through in a wide variety of outfits. I hope you thoroughly enjoyed yourself.

ooh, I have always wanted to run through a corn maze! Or just run through a corn field for that matter. I am jealous!
And that is one FANTASTIC dress! It’s beautiful and I think I need one like it. (Plus you totally look all Modelish in that last photo! Very chic!)

Oooh, a corn maze! I remember going to those a LOT as a teen. And then again when my kids were younger. Huh, maybe it’s time to truck the family out to the pumpkin patch and do it again! The best part was always the hot cider and cookies at the end…

I’ve never been in one! Which is sort of strange considering i live in the midwest! Someday I will find one and go!

Not only have I been to a corn maze, but I’ve been to a haunted corn maze, even. Really, you never saw these in NC? We have loads of them in this part of the state!

  7. Maria Childs says:

I went to a haunted corn maze in WI a few years ago for halloween with a group of my girlfriends. Outdoor haunted houses are scary enough. Throw in a corn maze in the middle of nowhere just adds to the scariness!

How fun! I ran through a potato maze a couple of weeks ago, but it wasn’t nearly as cool.

Oh my gosh! I’ve always wanted to enter a corn maze too! Although they seem kind of scary from what I’ve seen in horror movies. haha, anyway I just wanted to drop by and say thanks for your donation to the jdrf cause. You’re my first sponsor. Thank you so much! :D

  11. I’ve never heard of a corn maze before but it sounds like a lot of fun. What happens if you get lost though? You know, like if you decide to take a short cut? hehe

The corn maze in MN that’s near me is apparently the world’s largest and is uber fun to go through. They really do a great job on it. And it’s just an awesome fall tradition. :)
Oh, and they also make the trails so that from above it looks like a picture. This year it’s going along with the election.

  16. Melissa Walker says:

Wow! You look great! WE have a corn maze here every year, but I’ve never gone. Maybe when the kiddos get a little bigger.
