Win-It Wednesday: Fall For Anything by Courtney Summers
The winner of last week's contest for Melissa Kantor's The Darlings Are Forever is... Kayte J, who loves Dum Dums! Send me your address, KJ.
This week, I'm giving away a copy of Fall For Anything by Courtney Summers. You've likely heard about this incredible book (if not, here's My Friend Amy's great review), and it lives up to all the stars and swoons. Courtney Summers gets it so right every time. Love her.
To enter to win, tell me what your fictional obsession is. Brittany and Allie have a new blog category about their fictional obsessions (the first one is talking owls, which inspired B's owl collection). So be it from a book, movie, TV show, whatever--as long as you're obsessed, and the object of said obsession is fictional, it counts.
Mine? His initials are T.R. and he is often found in dusky Texas sunlight, squinting, smiling ever so slightly and perhaps holding a beer.
Sigh.

Fictional obsession...hmmmm...it's hard to get past that picture of Riggins. Somehow I missed this show until just recently and it is my most recent fictional obsession. It's seriously hurting my reading these days. Luckily my fiancee likes the show too so at least my relationship isn't suffering. And I get to spend so much quality time with my Dillon friends!

MY obsession? His initials are J.W. and he is often found in NY city kicking demon asses. He's a sarcastic, witty and absolutely hot shadowhunter and I could write a 100pagelong monologue about him, but that would be too obsessive, wouldn't it?:D

Fictional obsessions...well, I've got a couple and maybe you know one of them. Seems like he's pretty famous maybe because his eyes can be described 'as golden and luminous' and he can say things like 'I love you, I will love you till the day I die. And if there is life after that, I will love you then".
Thinks you've heard of him?
you haven't?
Seriously, I'm just gonna show you how freaking AWESOME this guy is, then.
Oh no, better not...he's mine, you know? MINE.
He can save my life from demons, play the piano to make me sleep and a billion of other things.
Yes, I love you JAce

Hm... fictional obsession? Well I do have an addiction to fairies. Seriously, stick a fairy in a book and I'm sold.

His name is Alex, he's literally a world away from home, and he fell in love with the wrong person. He also only exists in a friend's NaNoWriMo... which basically means the Alex!fandom consists of two people. One and a half, if you don't count the koala.

I am in love with all the (main) characters from Friends. In any situation in life I can come up with a comparison to an episode, or say something along the lines of "that's not how Ross would've done it.." Sometimes I scare myself

My fictional obsession is Jesse and Celine's relationship in Before Sunrise and Before Sunset. No one has that awesome a one-night stand, but man...it got to the point where when I finally made it to Vienna, I spent an entire day tracking down the places where they went on their night there.

Okay, so I'm old enough to have more than one:
No. 1
It's got to be Rob Wilkins (from Meg Cabot's 1-800 series), the guy is smart, independent and head over heels for Jesse when push comes to shove; if only I could meet a guy like that. Also, the Harley he rides doesn't hurt any. ;)
No. 2
Demetri. Although I liked him better before he became a strigoi.

Fictional obsessions...easy for me...girls on the cover or descriptions in the book of girls in pretty dresses. Think Anna Godberssen's books...total sucker for the cover of those books!

I have two and they're both bad boys - Neil Gaiman's Dream from Sandman and Mike Carey's Lucifer.

My fictional obsession is Pacey from "Dawson's Creek." For real. Anytime I need to feel comforted, I pull out my DVDs and watch him fall in love with Joey over and over again and it always makes me feel better. Pacey would be an awesome boyfriend!
