Win-It Wednesday: Radiance by Alyson Noel
Last week's winner of Ally Carter's Heist Society is... Bee! She said, "Beautiful people are such a visual treat!" and I agree. Send me your address, B. And, okay, judging by everyone's enthusiasm I think I need to see Toy Story 3!
This week, I'm giving away an ARC of Alyson Noel's hotly anticipated Radiance, the story of Riley, Ever's little sister in the Immortals series! I'm going to read it this week, then mail it to a winner. The release date is in late August.
So, to enter to win this book, tell me what song is in heavy rotation on your playlist this summer. I need a new mix.
Happy Wednesday!

"Imaginary Babies" by Anna Vogelzang, and pretty much every song from her new record Paper Boats. Amanda Palmer's new EP, which is covers of Radiohead songs on the ukulele, which came out yesterday. And Matt and Kim! Yeah Yeah Yeahs! Passion Pit! Feist! I can't even pick one song. The list could keep going. I am DYING to read this book.

OMG! Yay, I can't believe I won *happy dances*
I have no idea why but I just can't seem to stop listening to Dolly Parton's Jolene. It came out when I was about 6 I guess, but one of the 90210 episodes played it, and woah, I'm hooked!
Also, there's a particular someone I feel like singing that too, but.. *sigh*

The one song I have been listening to a lot this summer is Address In The Stars by Caitlin and Will.. 2 of my friends I graduated with died 2 weeks apart from each other. They were both 21. One from a drowning accident and the other from a car accident. There is so much I would love to tell both of them and this song just really hits home with my feelings..

Are You Satisfied - Marina and the Diamonds.
That song is so cheery despite how the lyrics aren't, and it's basically been on repeat for the past few weeks.
Also, I'm on the same boat as you for the whole Toy Story thing; I seriously need to watch it as well. Soon, hopefully. :)

"Give Me A Sign" by Breaking Benjamin! The lyrics fit so well with my book I'm writing and I love it anytime of the day. Literally, it came on in Wal-mart at the register and I started singing along! Hahahahha!

Also a brazilian singer, named Pitty, and her songs "Admiravel CHip Novo", "Mascara, "Teto de Vidro", "Equalize", among others...
I would love to read Radiance, btw, ever since I translated the book trailer, I'm in love with the book, which should take over a year after the american release to get here, so...
And don't worry, I have an US friend to receive the book and bring to me, he's coming back in september, so I'm not expecting you to ship abroad :P

Songs that are in my play list...hmm...well on rare occasions that I actually get to choose the music, I've been leaning heavily on classic rock: ZZ Top, CCR, Foreigner, Def Leopard, Aerosmith, Bad Company...and many more! But for the most part it's my 4 year old son in control of the music choices, and his are more along the lines of: anything by Nickelback (his ABSOLUTE favorite rock band), California Gurls, Hot 'N Cold & I Kissed A Girl by Katy Perry (I can't tell you how many times a DAY I hear these songs!), a little Sexy Back by Justin Timberlake and his newest favorite is Sunglasses At Night by Corey Hart. HAHA! Kidshave such eclectic music choices!
