Win-It Wednesday: Bad Blood by Mari Mancusi
Last week's winner of Hold Still by Nina LaCour (amazing book!) is... Janessa! For a writing challenge, she suggested, "the 'All Star' label on the back of Converse Chucks, a painting from the Renaissance, a large box filled with empty asthma inhalers and pairs of scissors." This week, I'm giving away a copy of Mari Mancusi's new release, Bad Blood. It's book #4 in the Blood Coven series (remember her EPIC Cover Story?)
To enter to win the book, tell me below what your favorite series from the last year was, meaning one that has more than one book in it... (I'm guessing there will be a lot of Hunger Games picks! I still haven't read it. I know--SHAME!) I think my favorite series right now is E. Lockhart's Ruby series, the latest of which is A Treasure Map of Boys. I just love Ruby and her adventures.
Actually, tonight at readergirlz, we're chatting LIVE with E. at 6pm PST/9pm EST about her book The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks (also a classic, and a Printz winner!). Come, come!
Oh, and I'm going to a release party for Carolyn Mackler's Tangled (100 pages in and so involved!) tonight at 5:30pm, before the chat. If you're in the NYC area, you should totally come. There will be heart-shaped cookies. I mean, come on.

I was totally going to say The Hunger Games, but since you said that I'm going with my #2 choice: Cassie Clare's Mortal Instruments series. So good!

My favorite series would definately have to be Vampire Academy. I love every single boook in the series and am eagerly awaiting book 5 which comes out this spring!

Let's see there are many series that i loved but i just started reading the Vampire Academy Series and I really enjoyed it i was getting tired reading about Vampire but this series is diffrent in a way and I'm really enjoying it

My favorite series was Pretty Little Liars :) I read, and loved, The Hunger Games, I really need to get on to Catching Fire!

probably the moon crash series by susan beth pfeffer. first "life as we knew it" then "the dead & the gone" really good books!!!

Vampire Academy. I finally got around to reading the series, and it is AWESOME! Now I'm dying to read Spirit Bound! :D

It wasn't exactly a new series last year, just new to me - Patrcia Briggs, Mercy Thompson series- Moon Called, Blood Bound and Iron Kissed. There has been another book or two added, I'm still catching up. I just loved this series. (Hugs)Indigo

My favorite series? The Gossip Girl books.
At first I disliked them because it just didn't draw me in as much as I thought they would, but after, about half a year I think it was I suddenly just got reeaally into them. I just liked the way anything could happen in that second, plus it gave insight to New York. Always a plus! I really loved these three characters: Blair Waldorf (of course), Jenny Humphrey, and Nate Archibald. They just make the books for me. Oh and Gossip Girl herself of course, she's just so stalkerish. :)

Mine is The Wolves of Mercy Falls series by Maggie Stiefvater. Shiver came out last year and Linger will be available soon!

Hmm, the series that got me completely obsessed last year has to be Kenneth Oppel's Airborn books :) I read the last two in like, less than a week! xD

Oh geez. I have to pick only 1?? I love the Pretty Little Liars series by Sara Shepard. But I also enjoyed the Vampire Kisses series by Ellen Schreiber. Oh and I also LOVE The Vampire Diaries series.. I am in love with that show and the books are great too.
Oh geez, Okay, I'm going to stop before I have every series I have read listed lol...

I haven't been reading much in the way of series lately, but I think I'll have to jump on the Vampire Academy bandwagon, they're good.

ooh, series! i love series! ;)
this year i have loved: claudia gray's "evernight" series, lucy silag's "beautiful americans" series, and alyson noel's "immortals" series. i also loved "rampant" by diana peterfeund, but it's not a series YET since book two isn't out. ;)
and OH! i can't believe i almost forgot! megan whalen turner's "the thief" series!! book 4 comes out this year, WOO!!!

My Favorite series so far is The Dark Swan series by Richelle Mead, only 2 books out so far but they feed my need for Adventure, Romance (sort of), Fae, Superpowers, Magic and Mystery, and dark dark desires of humans and non-humans alike!!!
