Photo Friday: The New Kitten!
So we did end up getting two kittens (thanks for everyone's advice!). The second one's name is Winona (Winnie for short, and when she's in a cheerful mood). Here she is, sitting pretty, with attitude:

The two of them get along... sometimes. Dave captured a still moment:
I'm so glad we have two! You guys were right--Swayze is much happier with someone to bully, and she swats him right back.

I think we're twins! I have a tabby and a tortie, too, and they both have the same looks on their faces! How cute.

Aw, how adorable! Have fun with your kitties this Christmas! (I think Christmas is a cat's favorite holiday...trees to climb, ornaments to bat and attack, and all those boxes, and tissue and wrapping paper is just the icing on the cake!)

I love tortoise shell kitties!! And I almost didn't notice the kitten in the tree shot, I actually thought you had named your TREE Swayze. Oops. ;)

Your babies are super cute. I used to have a "money cat" when I was a little girl. She was very tolerant of all my...excitement. I think it's great you decided to do two kitties. It's good for their socialization, AND you get double the love!

Aww, what a sweet tortie. We have a black cat and a tortie, and everyone always comments on the beautiful colours of the tortie. So cute!

What a pretty little girl... Swayze and Winnie are both adorable and so glad you did get 2 for company for each other. Cats are fun when they are growing up and when grown wonderful companions as they are interactive in a different way than dogs. The independent nature of a cat can take some getting used to but in the long run there is no greater house pet because easier to handle in times of emergency.
Thanks for the very lovely pics of the "kids" and keep them coming.
