Win-It Wednesday: Shadowland by Alyson Noel
The winner of a Blood Coven book by Mari Mancusi is... Donna S! Donna, email me your address and let me know which book you'd like (new or old cover!).
This week, I'm giving away of the highly anticipated third book in Alyson Noel's bestselling Immortals series (right after I read it!). You guys probably know about this series, and if you don't, where have you been?! Just kidding--go here to find out more. (Oh, and read the first two books' Cover Stories here and here.)
Now, for your challenge. I know I've talked about SMITHTEENS and the Six-Word Memoir books before, but I went to an amazing reading last night for this book and it refueled my love for Six-Word Memoirs. I even shared mine while I was there:
So today, for your chance to win a copy of Shadowland, share your six-word memoir. Each one you share is an entry, so go nuts if you want multiple entries, and feel free to comment more than once. I'm nosy, so hearing about your lives is fascinating to me.
Here's a video to inspire you. You should also hit up SMITHTEENS and explore if you haven't--there is some amazing writing over there.
Enter away! I'll pick a winner next Wednesday.

Finally realising true oddness of boys.
Oh, also: I'd rather be reading a book.

Wow so many awesome ones! :O)
Here, I'll take a whack at it...
Glass slippers aren't custom made.
I would like another try, please.
I came, I saw, I conquered. (Does that one count?)
I love him. He doesn't care.
Six words are really not enough.
Blonde's have the most fun. SURE...
My life isn't over quite yet.
Life is great, wonderful, fantastic! Lies...
Faking it until i make it.
Why were you here with her?
My grandmother died. I still cry.
Are you there God? It's me.
Keep out for five more minutes.
Call me when I get out.
"I'll call." Do you mean it?
Is it ever right to forget?
Finally, she allowed herself to smile.
The last song was never sung.
These memoirs come from the heart.

So envious that you went to the reading! One of my six-word memoirs was published in the 2nd book (on love and romance), so I was invited, but couldn't attend. Blast me for living in Florida! Glad you had fun there - love your memoir!
BTW, my memoir was: Dumped me because God said to.
(True story. Oh high school relationships.)

My life is my child's life...............
You are innate to my senses..............
Life, breath, love, see,show, know...........
I live for a fictional world.............
You say No, I say pah!
Don't stop me now, I'm having.............
Blood does not make you family.........
Love makes you more a family...............
Tie me down with lustful intent..............
You made me who I am................
Deep and meaningful or just drunk?

I am not the family driver.
Leave me to my fitful sleep.
Reading is fundamental, is brainpower?
Steampunk fashion, my new obsession now.
