Release week Win-It Wednesday!
Last week's prize was the gift bag from the Prospect Park Soiree that I went to in July... and I loved hearing about all your various summer parties. I think even talking about parties makes me happy. And the winner is... Melissa! Send me your address, M.
This week, your prize is a signed copy of Justina Chen Headley's fantastic Girl Overboard, which pretty much has it all: family, snowboarding, community service, dim sum and friend-love (yes!).
To win a copy of the book, you have a fun mission: Take this quiz by LaToya Evans ("What's your Spare Time Read?") and tell me what book you get... I thought I knew where I'd end up, but I got The Luxe (which I still haven't read--oops)! It must be that amazing ball gown that I dream of owning.
And don't forget to enter Monday's and Tuesday's contests too. It's true that I'm giving you a lot of tasks here, but it's still summer, right? Get to it!

Don't enter me but I had to take this quiz! I got the 4th book in the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series, Forever In Blue. It is a very good book! I heard the author is writing another book (series?) set in the same area, but with a new batch of friends. I'm very excited!

I already have this book, but wanted to see what book I would get from the quiz. I got Forever in Blue: The Fourth Summer of the Sisterhood by Ann Brashares. I love that series! I just got that book in paperback a couple of weeks ago so that it would match the rest of the books. I cannot wait to see the second movie inspired by these books!

I got Vampire Academy, which is a little odd because I am absolutley creeped out by vampires. I can handle all sorts of other scary creatures, but vampires, no way. (Which is why I've yet to read Twilight, crazy I know)

Vampire Academy! It's exactly my type of book. I've actually wanted to read that for awhile (heard some great things about it).

Forever In Blue. I really don't have a job in a supermarket, but there wasn't anything closer... It seem as though there are only four books you could be: Vampire Academy, Violet In Private, The Luxe, and Forever In Blue. It was a good book, but I liked the first book the best.

Forever in Blue here too - I love those girls. (And am so sad I missed the premiere here in the city - Amber Tamblyn is the best Tibby I could have hoped for!)
But I was a little disappointed because I didn't get to have a new book rec.
Everyone who got Vampire Academy (and everyone else!) I think you should also check out "Ever Night" by Claudia Gray - it's really fabulous, especially the end, and yes, I'm biased (the author is a close friend) but really! It's so good! ;)

You should read The Luxe! I wasn't sure if I was going to like it, but I read it and looooved it.
As for me, I got Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. Already read that one too... hers are some of the best Vampire books around, in my opinion, topped only by Twilight.

Hey! So I love taking quizzes, so this made me happy...
The book I got is Forever in Blue: The Fourth Summer of the Sisterhood by Ann Brashares... I haven't read it yet but I've read the first two books and watched the movie... My sis and I are big fans... can't wait for the new movie to come out and to read the rest of the series...
I also can't wait to read your books! I keep reading amazing reviews and it's making me so anxious!!!

i got forever in blue: the fourth summer of the sisterhood i didn't think i was going to get that book but i did i read that some others got vampire academy which i read (both of them) and loved so i was kinda shocked that i didn't get that one :( but oh well i haven't read the sisterhood of the traveling pants books but i have heard about them and wouldn't mind reading them :)
