Win-It Wednesday: Twilight

It was cool to hear your thoughts on independent bookstores last week! For those of you who've only been to musty or too-specialty ones, definitely look for more as you travel. There are some that feel just like home--I promise! And the winner of Love and Other Four Letter Words, signed by author Carolyn Mackler, is... Kate from myspace, who likes Ben Jelen (me too!). Now, this week I'm giving away my copy of Twilight. I finally got around to reading this, and yes, I get why everyone is just gaga over it: Action + Romance + Hot Vampires? How could Ms. Meyer go wrong? I have to say that at a few parts I wondered if Bella was gonna develop her feminist side at all, but I was pretty entrenched in the story. I have to read the others now... soon. No spoilers, please!

I know probably everyone has this, but it's the hardcover one and it's in perfect condition. So, if you want to win it, just tell someone about the upcoming release of Violet in Private. It's less than three weeks away, and I would be so happy if you alert your librarian, bookstore friend, myspace list, etc. And bonus if you share info about this contest.

After all, with Breaking Dawn coming out the same week as Violet in Private, I feel closer than ever to Edward and Bella.

Oh, and PS-Release week is going to be F-U-N. Major gift bag up for grabs. That's all I'm gonna say.

Definitely enter me! I emailed my friend and told her that while she's at the bookstore buying BREAKING DAWN she should also pick up a copy of VIOLET IN PRIVATE!

You don't even know how badly I need this. My poor paperback copy is falling apart from so many people reading it, and it doesn't match the two other books in the series which really bugs my OCD-ness. Anyway, I'm telling my friend (who is on vacation right now) about VIP, and forcing her to read VotR. :-)

Me: hey!! ok so i was just calling to tell you that theres this really cool book coming out soon in august, its called Violet in Private...

Me: ahhh (wierd gasping noise...i dont know how to type that noise...haha) you know what? we should totally get that book when it comes out, go to barnes and noble at bella terra (Bella terra is this huge shopping center w/ a movie theater and everything) and then the movies after or maybe shopping...
Julie: Yeah!! but when does it come out?
Me: August ummm 5th, i think it comes out around the same time as breaking dawn

I'm so glad you read it and you liked it (for the most part) Bella is a little too helpless though isn't she? You don't even know how very excited I am for that week. Breaking Dawn and Violet in Private in the same week. Yay! Right now I'm reading Violet By Design so I'll be all set. I'm totally crushing on Roger right now! I posted my review of Violet on the Runway last night.

I'm hoping I'll be mooching Flowers in the Attic by the end of the week, fingers crossed!

Can't wait for release week!

i already have this book :D so i'm really not entering. but i do love the series. i cant believe it took you this long to read it!!! and only the first book too!

I haven't read this series yet. Almost everybody I know who HAS read it, is bugging me to read it. Even some church ladies! Crazy, I know.

Anyways, does having the VIP countdown widget on a blog for one of the earlier contests count? How about I just repost it? Yeah... That's what I'll do.

I hate spoilers too! I actually don't have Twilight. I know I'm probably one of the only people in the world who doesn't have a copy, lol! But I have read the series (so far).

I told both my libraries, because they have book suggestion forms, and both of them have ordered it! I'm first on the reserve list! Yay! I'll blog about the contest on my blog here (or I guess you could just click my name =D):

Well I told my friends to buy your whole series and I told my librarian that they have to buy your books. I would love to win a hardcover copy of the book. I have read the series but I don't have any copies.

I went to my Barnes and Noble and told the Manager if they would be able to donate the series to my library and I also asked my library if they would get the whole series and maybe host a Book Reading or Talk. I can't wait for the 3rd book and Breaking Dawn!

Hey! I just received my copy of "Violet in Private" from your publicist (squeals)! I'm going to read it on Whirlwind College Tour Part One starting Sunday, because of course we're visiting NYU. LOL! But there will be a review posted next week. I don't need Twilight-- I had my copy for a while-- but thanks for spreading the Twilove! Stephenie Meyer boggles the mind.

All my friends now about it. I have a copy in my locker, so I get asked about it a lot.
I MUST have that Twilight copy. Correct me if I'm wrong but I wrote to you about it in practically every contest, asking you to read it (and accidentally telling you the end of the 3rd book, sorry). I let my copy to so many friends (I'm the main book provider) it's al torn up. I won't be here next wednesday, but I'll check the results a week after that..
