Photo Friday: Mom Visit!
Mom is here! Yay! Here's us a while ago, on my grandparents' old farm in West Virginia (no jokes--WVA is beautiful!). Feel free, however, to make fun of my heavily patterned, ruffle-strap overalls.
Don't you love mom moments? Happy Weekend!

Enjoy your mom! Hey, at least you didn't have the late 1970's bowl cut.. :)

Okay, now I've got that John Denver song stuck in my head (West Virginia...mountain mama...country roads, take me home). Very sweet! (And who didn't own and love those overalls back in the day? My mom made several pairs for me in various patchwork-corduroy configurations. Heh.) XO

Aww . . . cute picture.
My mom and dad arrive Wednesday--they're staying with me for a month. Scary but fun!

West Va gets such a raw deal; I blame "Deliverance". I was in Wheeling on and off in 2001 for a couple trials and it is quite stunning. I had some great runs along the Ohio River in September 2001, and will always appreciate the tranquil escape when I was temporarily stranded in Wheeling on and post-9/11/01.
On the flipside, it certainly does have more than its fair share of citizens with few than 32 pearly whites.
