The Cover Debut of Violet in Private!
Some of you guys have probably seen this on amazon.com, but here it is! This cover is the first one where they show her head, though the big glasses obscure her face a bit... I really like the college campus background. So... what do you guys think? More later on the revisions made to the cover and the process--I'm in a rush today!

Cool cover! When I first saw it, I thought hmm,they're showing her face now, wonder what that means? And it's back to the purple theme, whereas the last one was red. I now have all kinds of theories just based on the cover...isn't that fun? :-)

The cover is AMAZING!! Definitely my favorite so far. I know since the cover is so great the book will be even better:) Can't wait to read it.

I want those books badly. The covers are simply 10000% addicting. Violet being one of my top fave colors makes it even more yummy!

LOVE the colors! That's quite possibly the best shade of purple on a book EVER--and I love how there's just bits of colorization in the black and white on all your covers.
On a less enthused note (because, you know, I'm me): I have such a hard time seeing a shot of the protagonist's face on the cover of a book (although I AM happy the shades conceal a bit). Honestly, I loved (and was jealous of!) your first two covers because they left so much detail up to the imagination. It's just SO HARD to see a photographic representation of a character that has, thus far, only existed on the page and in our minds. The first time I saw the pictures of my protagonists on the Frenemies cover...well, it was hard! Frankly, it sucked for me (especially since the eye color and hair styles weren't even terribly accurate!). I've learned to embrace and love them...so I'm sure I will with Violet's image too...but it's tough to look at the first few times--no matter how cool and elegant and fabulous she looks.
Was that horrible of me to say?

OMG!!! I just got done reading Violet on Design, and I was hanging on every word!!! It was so funny, when I reached the last chapter, I was reading really slowly so that I wouldn't be done with the book yet!! You are a great author, and I hope that you keep on writing more Violet novels after Violet in Private. Violet is like my hero!! (we even have the same name!!) As for the cover, I think it lookes pretty much like Violte, although I would have liked to see more of her face, (Waaaaah! I've always wanted to see a picture of what Violet really looks like) I still think that it makes the book seem more ffun with all of the fun colors and details!! I can't wait until August!!!
