Haircut time!
Okay, so you guys saw me with longer hair, and here's my new short cut in various states.... I'm not quite used to it yet. Isn't it so weird when you get a haircut and you're not sure you look like yourself anymore?
It's kind of hard having short hair. I'm like, Do I look like a boy? Does this cut make my body seem bigger? Am I totally delusional to think that I can rock this as well as Michelle Williams does? But then I see a girl on the subway with awesome shortness, and I admire her, and I aspire to be her. So it's all okay.
Anyone got a haircut story to share? Do!

It works for you. Not boy-looking at all. Way unlike my Dorothy Hammill from fourth grade. Everyone thought I was a boy.

Hey there.
I've never seen you look cuter.
And I mean it.
I had all my hair chopped off after I graduated from college and went to see my brother for three weeks in Palo Alto.
Not.

Hey, Melissa! Looks adorable! I had a horrendous haircut experience in Taiwan at the tender age of six or seven. We told the hairdresser to "do what she thought would look good"... in retrospect, probably didn't look that bad but I hated it and ran out of the store screaming and refused to come back in. my mother had to sit through her own hair appointment in complete embarrasment as her sulking child was sitting outside in the dark street. I've been more careful about my hairstylists since then.

It is uber awesome! It really suits you and your face! I have never had really long hair (probably about the length of yours in the comfy chair photo) and I know that longer hair makes my face look oddly shaped. ;)
You are rockin' that hairstyle! Now you just need streaks of purple and hot pink like I have (if we're going to continue to be so much alike! *wink*)

I'm liking it!
Cut my own hair in 5th grade.. Remember the Mary Lou Retton boy cut? Yeah, that was me. It grew it in a bit, then I permed it, another disaster. I looked like a blond Ronald McDonald.

Love the 'do! I think it's TOTES Michelle Williams. Or even Holly from Make me a Supermodel, which is my private favorite show. My public favorite show is LOST.

Looks good. I like short hair because it's easier to care for, but I flop between wearing my hair long and short. Currently, it's a little past shoulder length, long layers and sideswept bangs starting at my cheekbone.
A haircut can be fantastic for changing appearance. I love playing with how my hair looks.

Aw!! It is so cute!!!
A few weeks ago I got my hair cut too, and WAAAY shorter than I ever planned or have ever gotten it cut before. At first I really disliked it because I thought it made me look horrible, but I actually think it's cute now. And since it's so short, I use less shampoo and it takes less time to straighten my hair!

You're so lucky- short hair looks awesome on you!
The shortest mine has ever been was shoulder length and I never liked it.

It looks GREAT! :D I got my hair cut for bangs when I was in elementary school (third grade, was it?) I. Hated. It. So. Much. I tried to hide my face behind this huge textbook, which evidently caused more people to look my way (I wonder why?)
Other than that, I love when I get my hair cut - it has this sort of... newish feeling about it. ;)

Love it! Think of all the money you save on shampoo, too! I have had this cut several times...Way more fashionable and edgy, I think but the bummer is you can't do the lazy woman's bun/ponytail thing I rely on. I guess my only gripe is you actually have to DO your hair every day. It looks fantastic when you actually whip out the blowdryer and the round brush, but if you skip it you look like a homeless person. Another plus is the "Do I look like a boy" factor always inspired me to put my make-up on. Either way, I'm positive you are far too hip to lament the loss of your ponytial and the cut is very cute. I especially love the long bangs!

It looks great Melissa, no worries.
Actually my freshmen year my mother cut my hair right up to my ears. I HATE HATE HATED it... so because I hate short hair (at least on me)... I've been growing it out ever since... so right now my hair is a little past my hips... but I'm thinking of cutting it and donating part of it soon.

Your pictures look totally adorable. Almost like a book cover on I book I would want to pick up and read.
You completely don't look like a boy, unlike me in this following story...
First I need to tell you that I have really bad vision. I am practically blind without my glasses. Hairdressers always turn me to the mirror asking excitingly "What do you think?" as I fumble to get my glasses on my face. I swear that they are disappointed I ruined their moment.
When I was in 5th grade I was on vacation and my mom decided I needed a haircut. The idea popped into my mind that she picked this hair place because it was located right next to a bar. That really makes her sound like a lush, which she wasn't, but I think this discovery may be true. So I am sitting in the chair and the lady is cutting. And I squint a little to see what is happening. Okay still cutting. Still cutting. About two hours later I have given up on squinting and hour ago when she pulled out the straight razor to chop all my hair off. This was pre everyone getting their hair cut off with a straight razor because it gives amazing texture. This was just a really really short boy cut with wings at my temples when it grew out. Yeah, it was a trend setting fashion statement I tell you. My mom "loved" it, but remember, she had just spent the last two hours in a bar instead of in some darkened back room getting her hair mutilated. Oh, and about the wings, I have the pictures to prove it.
True story.

You look great! It's so cute.
I'm never happy with my hair. I think it goes back to like 2nd grade when my mom took me to a barber shop and had me go "natural" with a short fro. Awful. Now that was the worst.
I was the little girl with the cute face and the boy hair.

Ooh. I like the new look!

Very cute! Looks great :o)
My worst hairdo was grade 6. I had my waist length hair cut to about my chin, then had it permed. I looked like I had a triangle on my head for months. I think that's one reason I never wear my hair shorter then the 'Jennifer' hair of the 90s hehe

It looks good! You look very polished and carefree--cute!

You look absolutely stunning! Was your hair shorter on Saturday? It seemed a little shorter but it looks different in these photos. Either way, I love it.

Love it! You look tres chic!
I cut my hair at the beginning of this school year. I had been saying I was going to do it for ages, bu then I'd chicken out and just have them trim it. I was driving my mother and my freinds insane, so two weeks before school, I got 18 inches cut off. I was stunned. The haircut I had was pretty cute too.
So I went back in January to get it cut similiar, only I asked for some bangs. Well, she cut it really weird, so the hair at the top of my head was like 2 inches, and the rest of it went down to my ears. It was old ladyish. So now I wear it in a ponytail and lots of bobby pins and am waiting a month so I can cut it again.
Anyway, that's enough of my hair trauma. Continue to rock that awesome hair you have!

Oh, it looks adorable! I've thought about getting my hair cut that short, but I have not been that brave, so I admire you.

I LOVE the haircut, Melissa! You have an adorable face, so you can definitely pull it off! Take care - have a great weekend!

I saw it in person last Friday and it looked great, in case I neglected to tell you. Alas, after many years of trying, complimenting women on their physical attributes and modifications does not come easily for me. I wonder why...
I loved it though - totally fun! And I agree with Jenn that you have an adorable face (and a loveable smile) so the less fray in the way, the better.

Must be a short hair big going around as I just chopped mine off when I got home from work. Something about Spring I think...
Also put up my review(ish) Violet by Design, in case you wanted to take a look.

It looks great! I haven't seen the before hair but I love it. And thanks for the vote of confidence, I'm starting to feel a lot better about going Twiggy, and I think there's a very good chance I will.

Isotretinoin (trade name: Accutane) is a powerful drug used in the treatment of acne. Four to five months of Accutane treatment usually leads to clearing of acne. It is a potent medication that is very effective for nearly all types of breakouts. Accutane is needed for moderate to severe acne that has failed other treatments. It should be used for a severe, scarring acne. Is also used for acne present for many years that has not respond completely to antibiotic pills and creams. While it has many side effects, in some ways it is safer than long-term antibiotic usage. Most other acne-controlling medicines are antibacterial agents, which are effective only if used daily. Over two million people have taken this drug, so a lot is known about its safety and effectiveness
buy accutane
Isotretinoin, when administered orally, is best absorbed when taken after a high fat meal, as it has a high level of lipophilicity. In a crossover study, it was found that the peak plasma concentration more than doubled when taken after a high fat meal versus a fasted condition. Isotretinoin is primarily (99.9%) bound to plasma proteins, mostly albumin. At least three metabolites have been detected in human plasma after oral administration of isotretinoin. These are 4-oxo-isotretinoin, retinoic acid and 4-oxo-retinoic acid. Isotretinoin also oxidises, irreversibly, to 4-oxo-isotretinoin. The metabolites of isotretinoin are excreted through both urine and feces. The mean elimination half-life is 21 hours, with a standard deviation from this mean of 8.2 hours.
