Oh man...do i have to pick just one? :) I think my favorite stories are ones about friends but I also really like stories that have elements of love or fantasy. What's your favorite? I mean, I know you write about fashion, but do you have a favorite topic to read?

Ooh, now I have to think! Really, I'm into those real-girl stories where you get to go into their homes, their high schools, their cars... that sounds stalkerish! But truly, I just love being able to relate, so I like the realistic stuff best, like in books by Carolyn Mackler, Sarah Dessen, etc.

And the complicated kind, when you know that the girl and guy are perfect for each other, but something just keeps getting in the way — and then finally, at the end, everything is wonderful. Ahh. So wonderful, haha. It makes me happy just thinking about it.

let's see...i think my favorite YA topic is probably friendship. when you're an adolescent, friendships are EVERYTHING to you! your friends become your family, your support system, your confidantes, your supporters, your shoulders to cry on. books or stories about friendships and how to be a good friend to others are particularly interesting and educational for young adults. just my opinion :D

My favorite genre would have to be a quirky/sarcastic/witty sense of humor book mixed in with lots of romance. Perhaps a little nerd humor doesn't hurt.

Something funny or maybe a little romance. I also love mystery books. But Kate Brian writes books that has mystery in it and at the same time, like Gossip Girl and The Clique. And that is awesome.

i teach high school & it seems like teens like stories they can relate to. Things they deal with- romance,peer pressure,school- REAL LIFE! Of course they also like weird fantasy stuff. I always liked romance and mystery written in the first person. Oh yeah, and there are a few sci fi/manga type kids also!
