Tuesday Musing: Seventeen Models and US Weekly
This week's issue of US Weekly calls The Economist an "egghead magazine." That cracks me up! Doesn't it just sound like the popular C-student putting down the nerdy A-getter? High school is alive and well.
Also, the multi-talented Amber, who reviewed Violet on the Runway for Young Adult Books Central, is a finalist in Seventeen and Ford's Reader Model contest. See her profile here and vote for her if you think she's as cool as I do.
PS-Does anyone else read US Weekly? Make me feel better by confessing!

My year long subscription to US was just delivered. I need to indulge myself in a little celebrity gossip and fashion advice. Guilty pleasure or not, I love it.

I know I'm late to the party on this one, but I ran an entire Us Weekly fantasy league, a la Bill Simmons (ESPN's "The Sports Guy"). It had a 15 week regular season and a three week playoff.
So...yeah, I read Us Weekly.
