Best of Both Worlds

Not to get all Hannah Montana, but I’m in a good mood. Yesterday, I did a lot of homey stuff in Brooklyn, like working on some writing and making a turkey stew in my undeniably adorable apron from Jessie Steele.
And today, at 4pm, I’ll be at the Marc by Marc Jacobs show, thanks to my awesome friend Laura. Best of both worlds? YES.
Sometimes I really have to stop and appreciate the happy things I’m doing instead of worrying about the paper recycling piling up in the corner and the two months worth of magazines that I haven’t read yet and the stack of dishes left in the sink from the aforementioned turkey stew.
What are you guys up to this week? What’s your “best of both worlds” moment?

That saounds like an awsome day and I love the apron!
I have to think hard about a best of both world moment. The first thing that comes to mind as a great day or night is checking out a late afternoon movie then going to City Island and having my fav shrimp and chips in a basket from Johnny’s. I guess I’m craving Johnny’s since it’s winter and they close for the season.

You have shamed me into wanting an apron.

Oh, shame is a bad technique. Just think of it as an inspiring fashion piece–aprons are such a lovely shape!
And thanks, everyone. I am now craving shrimp and chips from Johnny’s, too, though I’ve never been there!
